Twenty-six years ago St Patrick’s Day ShamROCK San Diego became a small success story that grew into one of San Diego’s favorite traditions. This year St Patrick’s Day ShamROCK San Diego will return on Saturday, March 14th from 2 PM to Midnight to draw more than 15,000 attendees from across the U.S., with genuine Irish revelry, green beer, jigging, and of course an amazing lineup of live entertainment! St Patrick’s Day ShamROCK San Diego is excited to announce this year’s headlining band the YOUNG DUBLINERS, whose style of music has come to be called Celtic Rock! The “Dubs” as they are often referred to last made their appearance on the St Patrick’s Day ShamROCK San Diego stage over 10 years ago. In the spirit of celebrating yet another amazing St. Patrick’s Day Festival in the Gaslamp Quarter, the Dubs are gearing up to set the Irish mood with one heck of a performance in 2020!
A full day of Celtic inspired festivities and new memories await as 3 stages of live entertainment take to the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter! St Patrick’s Day ShamROCK San Diego is working extra hard to curate an authentic and lively lineup for The Pint Stage (Irish Rock stage) for attendees to bust out their best dance moves. The Clover Stage is set to start the ruckus with high energy vibes from headliners, the EC Twins! This Irish festival will have a little taste of all music genres in an open format style with The Pub Stage. In addition to amazing entertainment, St. Paddy’s Day in the Gaslamp Quarter will also boast Irish-inspired photo opps, shenanigan games, commemorative steins to fill with green and more “craic” (fun) to last an entire year! As always shamROCK will be painting the Gaslamp Quarter green with 50,000 square feet of astro turf to take you straight to the hills of Ireland!
General Admission tickets start at $40 through January 27th at Midnight, Lucky Leprechaun VIP tickets start at $80 through January 27th at Midnight! Add on to your ticket and join the Clover Crew with a range of custom packages including 2 complimentary 16oz beers, St. Patrick’s Day hat, commemorative stein and credential, fast pass entry and more for $7 to $35.
One-Hundred percent of the proceeds benefit the Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation, a small non-profit in the Gaslamp Quarter who is dedicated to preserving and protecting the architecture, history, and culture of the historic Gaslamp Quarter and running the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, the oldest building in Downtown San Diego. ShamROCK is a key contributor in keeping the museum doors open for years to come!
